Under the direction of the FIU Project Director (PD) for the EDA funded ClimateReady Tech Hub Infrastructure Project, the Research Coordinator at StartUP FIU will support the day-to-day program activities of a federally-funded community-wide economic development project. Coordinates among project personnel to schedule meetings and events, capture data and reporting requirements. Maintains the project database, develop meeting minutes, coordinate events and work closely with the PD to fulfill the deliverables and reporting requirements for the CRI Project.Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the project.Schedules all meetings related to the project, including all project personnel, Tech Hub partners and stakeholders, funders and commercial partners.Prepares routine and requested drafts and reports related to the project, including any data retrieval and presentations.Develops and implements procedures for effective data management, including data collection, entry, storage, retrieval and reporting for the project.Works with StartUP FIU Director of Communications and other project personnel to ensure that events related to the CRI Project, including but not limited to meetings, roundtables, conferences, events, trainings and workshops are maintained on a master calendar.Assists Project Director and project team to coordinate and execute project events, including managing invitation and rsvp lists, preparing materials, ordering supplies/catering and collecting, storing and reporting pre & post event data as necessary.Prepares Project Director for all project meetings by developing agendas, preparing minutes, organizing materials for Project Director to review prior to meetings and gathering any necessary meeting materials (e.g., presentations, flyers, grant documents, etc.) to send out to participants prior to the meetings as necessary.Makes travel arrangements for the Project Director in accordance with FIU policies and procedures, and federal guidelines.Works with Project Director and the FIU Office of Research and Economic Development post-award team to track budget and grant reporting requirements to EDA.Supports the Project Director in managing the project timelines and milestones, including alerting the Project Director to upcoming reporting deadlines and project deliverables, coordinating with project personnel on their tasks and updating the project plan as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.Desired Qualifications
Experience with federal research grants.Experience in collecting, entering, and reporting data.Ability to collect data to assist with the preparation of grant reports.Job Category
