Candidates must be licensed in California and possess relevant litigation experience with a demonstrated interest in health law.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent clients in complex health care litigation matters, handling cases involving intricate regulatory issues.Communicate effectively with clients, delivering clear and concise written legal analysis and advice.Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business operations, objectives, and strategic goals to provide tailored legal solutions.Provide creative, practical, and actionable legal advice to address clients’ specific needs and challenges.Collaborate with team members specializing in fraud and abuse investigations, licensing and certification, and health care business transactions.Handle various litigation tasks, including brief writing, motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, arbitration, depositions, internal investigations, and responding to subpoenas.Formulate and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Stay updated on developments in health law, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide informed legal advice.Requirements:2-5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on health care law and complex regulatory issues.Licensed to practice law in California.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise legal analysis.Proven experience in key litigation tasks such as brief writing, motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, arbitration, depositions, and handling subpoena responses.Demonstrated interest in health law and complex regulatory regimes.Ability to work collaboratively with team members and manage multiple priorities effectively.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:In-depth knowledge of health care litigation and regulatory frameworks.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Effective client communication and relationship management.Experience with litigation processes, including discovery, e-discovery, and depositions.Ability to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.Collaborative approach with a focus on teamwork and client service.
