Advise clients on legal rights and draft necessary legal documents.Represent clients at pretrial hearings and provide strategic guidance following each hearing.Handle court appearances, trial preparation, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.Analyze probable case outcomes based on legal precedents.Manage a workload of cases, ensuring timely and thorough case preparation.Conduct legal analysis to identify potential case benefits for clients.Gather additional evidence to support clients’ cases or counter prosecution charges.Prepare clients for depositions, gather information from witnesses and experts, and develop case strategies.Requirements
Interest in Criminal Defense, demonstrated through law school clinics, volunteer work, or internships.Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Active bar admission or recent law graduate awaiting admission.Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, though not required.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage a caseload.Familiarity with Case Management Software preferred.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications
