Job Overview:Seeking a prominent Intellectual Property practice group a Trademark Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in trademark matters. The ideal candidate will handle trademark clearance, filing strategies, prosecution, enforcement investigations, and drafting cease and desist letters related to trademark infringement. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team of trademark practitioners on regional, national, and international trademark matters.Duties:
Handle trademark clearance, filing strategy, and prosecution.Conduct enforcement investigations and draft cease and desist letters related to trademark infringement.Negotiate co-existence and settlement agreements in trademark disputes.Provide counsel on intellectual property and technology licensing.Collaborate with colleagues on advertising law, copyright, and social media-related matters.Support clients through regional, national, and international trademark issues.Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, and enforcement.Proven experience in drafting cease and desist letters and negotiating settlements.Active law license in good standing.Strong research, writing, and critical thinking skills.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Admitted to practice law in the United States, with eligibility to work and practice in the relevant state(s).Skills:
Strong legal research and drafting abilities.Excellent communication and client management skills.Ability to manage complex trademark matters and provide strategic advice.Team-oriented and willing to collaborate with other intellectual property professionals.
