Job Description

American Systems seeks an exceptionally well qualified DoD Senior Analyst (Top Secret) with demonstrated expertise in all aspects of S&T and financial analysis, especially those involving management of a large and diverse portfolio of capabilities. A Week in the life of a Senior Analyst (Top Secret):Manage and support analysis of prospective and ongoing projects and demonstrations of emerging, innovative technologies.Provide support to project management, analysis, and funding recommendationsMaintain situational awareness of all project actions and activitiesMaintain a thorough understanding of S&T processes and procedures.Support or develop briefings and documentation as required.Respond to requests for information.Coordinate and collaborate across the Department of Defense and with other Government agencies, academia, and industry for situational awareness and information sharing.

Job Requirements

A bachelor's degree or higher in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical, management, or national security area.Minimum 10 years' experience with scientific, engineering, or technical portfolio support.Must have experience with project management and analysis of projects.Ability to synthesize vast amounts of complex technical data into senior executive level information.Experience with OSD processes and procedures related to preparing technical briefs, presentations, packages, and DoD/Congressional-level correspondence.Experience preparing presentations and other visualization forms to communicate results and artifacts to varied audiences.Top Secret clearance (with SCI eligibility)

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
