About the Staff Accountant position:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant who excels in a team-based environment and brings a collaborative, can-do attitude. Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze general ledger prepaids and accruals.
- Full cycle A/P and A/R
- Manage bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Calculate and file sales and use taxes
- Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address financial inquiries, solve problems, and provide support during audits.
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to team goals.
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting working with the general ledger
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset.
- Effective communicator, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.
Salary: $80-90K
