Job FunctionsTechnical Expertise: Provide expert guidance/review on 3D CAD modeling, including the architecture setup, application of dimensions, tolerances, annotations directly within the 3D model, and other digital transformation related tasks.Training and Development: Mentor and train individual contributors with regards to 3D CAD modeling, drawing creating, etc to meet the needs of customers. Develop training materials on processes, best practices, lessons learned, etc for effective onboarding.Quality Assurance: Provide consultation on MBD processes to ensure they meet quality standards and industry regulations while maintaining model integrity.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, etc internally and with customer to ensure project needs are met.Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of working experience in 3D CAD modeling and MBD implementation. Experience in gas turbine industry preferred.Technical skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX, Teamcenter or equivalent) and familiarity with MBD standards. Experience with JTGo2 is a plus.Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues effectively.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of to effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment.Enjoy people and dynamic teams with diverse experiences. Direct interface with other internal/external engineering functions involved in MBD modeling.Capture system requirements from the customer and incorporate into projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and validate complex system models.Integrate MBD tools and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Mentor engineering teams on MBD practices and align processes with customer and company needs.Stay current on MBD advancements and lead troubleshooting efforts and innovation.Provide engineering review and/or manage detailed technical documentation for MBD models and processes.Required Skills (Technical Competency):

At least 15+ years of experience in 3D CAD modeling and MBD implementation, preferably in gas turbine industry.Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX, Teamcenter or equivalent) and familiarity with MBD standards. Experience with JTGo2 is a plus.Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.Substantial amounts of telephone, video conferencing and computer work.Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.This role can be full time or part timeAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.

Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications

Pay Ranges

$100,000-$125,000 USD
