a Senior Tax Analyst
to join their
Fort Worth, TX
team. This is a critical role responsible for providing support on sales and use tax and Vertex system, income tax, third party compliance providers, as well as audit defense.

4-year degree in accounting or related fieldAt least 3 years of Vertex/SAP experience with sales taxDuties and Responsibilities:
Provide support on sales and use tax and Vertex system
Assist with maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and continued enhancement for sales and purchases in Vertex OAssist with tax certificate review and setupAnalyze, research, and resolve tax treatment of various transactions/itemsProvide support on income tax
Assist with income tax provision including ASC740 positions, depletion calculations, and transfer pricing studiesAssist with tax research and planningSupport third party compliance providers
Provide supporting documentation for outsourced tax compliance providers-income, sales and use, and property taxRespond to tax noticesProcess tax paymentsAudit Defense
Provide support for tax auditsGather information requested by auditorsAnalyze data, research issues, and recommend positionsDraft responses to auditors
