Field Applications Engineer - System FAE Analog & Connectivity
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related fields to join us as Field Applications Engineers in our Farmington Hills office. In this role, the candidate will collaborate closely with Sales, Field Applications Engineers, and Applications Engineers to advance automotive technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the next generation of Renesas Automotive Systems & Products while developing technical skills and customer-facing communication within a global team environment. This is a hyrbid position.
Key Responsibilities: Support customer design-ins of Renesas Automotive Analog and Connectivity products for advanced automotive applications. Develop expertise in key automotive applications to drive system selling of Renesas products to automotive OEMs/Tier1s. Provide hands-on technical support in resolving customer issues, ensuring optimal utilization of Renesas products. Review electrical circuits with senior engineers and assist in debugging. Collaborate with global engineering teams for product requirement analysis, technical reviews, benchmarking, and troubleshooting. Learn and apply your knowledge in real-world applications and the semiconductor industry. Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address customer concerns and foster positive relationships. A team-oriented mindset, ready to contribute to innovative projects and collaborative efforts. Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and their applications in the automotive systems. Familiarity with design / debugging of Analog sensors like position, thermal etc. and BLE, UWB, BT/Wi-Fi products. Any hands-on support or research experience in the automotive sector, especially involving electrical circuits, will be a plus. Passion for automotive technologies and a willingness to learn and apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. Additional Information
