POSITION:
Production Manager - Extrusion (Only those with extrusion manufacturing experience will be considered)LOCATION:

Production Manager
to lead our extrusion operations. This role combines technical expertise in rubber and plastic extrusion with strong leadership abilities to drive manufacturing excellence in our multi-shift operation.
Key Responsibilities:Process Leadership:
Optimize extrusion processes for thermoplastic and rubber productsQuality Control:
Ensure consistent product quality through process parameter monitoring and controlTeam Development:
Lead and develop production supervisory teams across multiple shiftsContinuous Improvement:
Implement lean manufacturing methodologies to maximize throughputTechnical Oversight:
Manage die changes, line setups, and preventive maintenance programsProduction Planning:
Coordinate scheduling to optimize equipment utilization and meet customer demandsCost Management:
Control material usage, reduce scrap, and manage operating costs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (5-10 years)Extensive experience with extrusion processesStrong background in thermoplastic and rubber processing technologiesUnderstanding of polymer materials and processing parametersExperience with extrusion tooling, die design, and process optimizationKnowledge of ISO 9000 requirements and quality management systemsMinimum 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturingLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience preferredBilingual English/Spanish a plus

Extrusion process control and troubleshootingMaterial flow characteristics and polymer processingLine speed optimization and quality control measuresEquipment maintenance and tooling managementStatistical process control (SPC) implementation
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$105,000 - $125,000 based on experienceLocation:
