United Skates of America, a leader in recreation and entertainment, is seeking a dynamic and motivated
Sales & Event Manager
for our Clovis, CA location. Our roller-skating rink, located at 2881 Peach Avenue, Clovis CA 93612 offers a variety of family-friendly activities including roller skating, an arcade, a novelty redemption center, and a café. We also host educational STEM school trips, birthday parties, and a variety of special events that make our center the ultimate destination for fun and entertainment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive promotions, events, and growth at a thriving entertainment venue. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you'll also oversee a small sales support team to handle clerical tasks and marketing efforts.
What You'll Do:Sales Outreach:
Contact local schools, churches, youth groups, businesses, and other organizations to book events, fundraisers, birthday parties, and our one-of-a-kind STEM field trips.Event Promotion:
Plan and execute special events to increase visibility and revenue, using social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to generate buzz.Team Leadership:
Oversee and support sales staff with daily administrative and marketing responsibilities.What We're Looking For:
Sales Experience:
2+ years in outside sales, including cold calling.Customer Focused:
1+ year in customer service (preferred).Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.Organized & Motivated:
Strong organizational abilities and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Creative & Adaptable:
A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to think on your feet and deliver results.What You'll Bring:
Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to driving sales.Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once.A fun, outgoing, and engaging personality.Hours & Compensation:
