Mission:
The mission of the Total Rewards Manager - Americas is to ensure that Epiroc has a comprehensive Compensation & Benefits package that supports the attraction and retention of top talent across the Americas region. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining competitive compensation structures and benefits programs that align with Epiroc's strategic objectives.
The Total Rewards Manager will manage the administration of health and financial benefits, vendor relationships, and supporting systems across the Americas, including overseeing global mobility programs to ensure effective management of international assignments, immigration, and relocation. This position is crucial in promoting a fair and rewarding workplace, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and enhancing the overall value proposition for employees.
Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement total rewards strategies that support the business objectives and talent needs of the organization.Ensure alignment of compensation and benefits programs with the company's overall strategic goals.Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
Compensation Management:
Design and manage compensation structures, including salary ranges, incentive programs, and job evaluations.Oversee the annual salary review process, including benchmarking and salary adjustments.Provide guidance on compensation matters to HR Ops and management.
Benefits Administration:
Oversee the administration of health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and other employee benefits programs.Ensure benefits programs comply with local, state, federal, and international laws, including ERISA, IRS, HIPAA, DOL, and other relevant jurisdictions.Partner with vendors and brokers to manage benefits programs effectively.
Global Mobility:
Manage the global mobility program, including relocation, expatriate assignments, and immigration matters.Ensure compliance with immigration laws and company policies.Support employees and their families during relocations and international assignments.
Vendor and Systems Managemen t :
Serve as the key contact with vendors for day-to-day administration of benefits and compensation, ensuring that vendor services meet expectations.Manage and maintain Compensation & Benefits systems to support efficient operations.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to total rewards.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Communication and Training:
Develop and deliver communication strategies to ensure employees understand and value their total rewards package.Provide training to HR teams and managers on compensation and benefits topics.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze compensation and benefits data to inform decision-making and strategy.Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on the effectiveness of total rewards programs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business unit HR representatives and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality services are delivered consistent with service agreements.
Team Leadership:
Lead and develop a team of total rewards professionals.Provide coaching and mentoring to team members and support their professional development.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.7 to 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits functions, with at least 2 years managing benefits in the US.Experience working for a global organization, including work with global assignments.Prior experience working in a service center/center of excellence environment.Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement initiatives or re-engineering processes.Proven ability to analyze issues/problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.Experience successfully managing projects, including meeting project milestones and cost.Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and other benefit and payroll laws and regulations.Understanding of self-insured benefit programs, defined benefit and contribution plans, and best practices in the compensation and benefits function.Awareness of the general benefit and compensation marketplace, including providers, products, and trends.Proficiency in PC skills, including Word, Excel, and HRMS systems/databases.Benefits:
