The HR Manager acts as a leader for Epiroc Drilling Solutions taking a company first approach to managing and safeguarding the business for Epiroc employees, Customers, and Shareholders. In doing this, you will work collaboratively as a member of the management team to help deliver against the Epiroc Drilling Solutions plan and the success of Epiroc AB. You will take the ownership and accountability to ensure that the Drilling Solutions PC, Allen DC, and PSD Hub comply with all HR laws and Epiroc policies as outlined in The Epiroc Way.
This position requires on-site presence and is located in Garland, Texas.
Responsibilities:
As the HR Manager, your primary role is to guide, support, and oversee all People Management processes in alignment with 'The Epiroc Way'. This includes responsibilities in Employee Relations, Recruitment, Benefits (in collaboration with other Epiroc companies in the US as needed), HRMS, and internal communications. Additionally, you will:
Drive a clear People and Leadership agenda that positions the organization at the forefront.Foster a performance culture and promote continuous improvement.Attract, select, and develop top talent in the region to build high-performing teams.Ensure a robust pipeline of internal talent who are excelling in their current roles and are motivated to grow into new positions within the company.Enhance leadership capabilities to ensure leaders are actively engaged in People Management to achieve lasting results.Maintain a lean and agile organizational design with the necessary skills for current and future needs.Promote a culture of learning with continuous development and growth opportunities.Actively support One-HR by collaborating with HR resources from both the region and the Center of Excellence (CoE) to deliver an exceptional employee and manager experience.Implement change management strategies as required.Develop and drive a compensation and benefits strategy, including regional pay adjustments and annual performance calibrations.Safeguard labor relations.Align policies and processes with other HR Managers.Be a role model for digital and data-driven practices.Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives across the region/entity.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration or Behavioral Science or similar discipline.Minimum 10 years' experience in broad HR roles, with minimum 5 of those years in a regional or comparable HR management role.HR management experience on senior level, knowledge of local HR standards, procedures and legal related topics.Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices is also required.Experience aligning global HR strategies and goals with local HR plans and standards.Experience working with councils and legal matters.Experience of HR transformation initiatives including digitalization and automation.Fluency in English, both in speech and writing is a key requirement. Mastery one or more other key regional languages such as French/Spanish/Portuguese is highly desirable.Experience of working with SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR systems is highly desirable.Proficiency in using HR software and digital tools for efficient HR operations.Experience working across a multi-site organization.Previous experience in the mining, warehouse, or manufacturing industry is an asset.Problem Solving:
