Job Summary

THE VACANCY:This recruitment is Open and Promotional, which means that all are welcome to apply and current employees in permanent positions are eligible to receive seniority credit and promotional placement.

There is 1 vacancy within the Health Services Department (working 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, 10 months per year). Positions in this classification will be assigned by school zone as support at various school sites.

BASIC FUNCTION:Under the direction of the Director Health Services, provide a variety of health services at a District site; prepare and maintain related records, files and reports; travel to assigned school sites.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year of recent experience working in a health care service environment involving general office work. Experience working in a school setting providing health services to children is highly desirable.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Valid First Aid and CPR Certification issued by an authorized agency.Valid California driver's license.
