Purpose & Impact:
The purpose of the
Administrative Assistant
is to provide administrative and program support to the assigned program units.
Essential Functions:Greeting clients and answering phonesData entry for information required on the Children's Network Executive ReportMedical, Dental, Photos, Birth Verifications, FingerprintsResponsible for review of Children's Active Report to ensure accuracy of caregiver/children addresses and phone numbersPermanency Staffing invitesBackground ChecksASK print requestsDrug ScreensCompletion of ITR packetsObtain quarterly educational reports and medical recordsCompletion of MCR/MCF and incident report for RunawayQualifications
Competencies (Skills/Knowledge & Abilities)
Possess a good work ethic and strong interpersonal and communication skills.Possess a keen sense of confidentiality and discretion.Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills required.Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to our service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.Possess a keen sense of confidentiality and discretion.Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Use of telephone and computer over long periods of time.Able to present a professional image over the telephone and in person.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.Bending and lifting may be required.Extensive knowledge of Windows applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel.Able to set up and maintain an extensive filing system and knowledge of general office operating, administrative procedures.Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Progressively responsible administrative and clerical support experience in a professional office.High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Additional eligibility qualifications
Valid state driver's license and appropriate auto liability insurance required.
