Administrative Assistant

who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.Purpose & Impact:Complete all work assignments provided by assigned supervisor, have general knowledge of office procedures and equipment, and handle assignments with various levels of difficulty.Essential

Functions:Answer phone calls, properly record and forward messagesGreet all guests and clients in a courteous and professionalAssist in sorting and distribution of mail on a timely basisMaintain a library of informational material used in the programs, books, video tapes, etc.Screen clients and evaluate for initialProvide clerical support to shelter and clinical managers, asUpdate forms asProvide administrative/program support for the Regional Director and Administrative Assistant, including but not limited to drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings and travel; copy, fax, mail and file.Keep the lobby, kitchen, restroom, and conference room neat andEnter receipts and bills into computerComplete WEXAssist with reference checksConduct follow-ups, asParticipate in In-Service training sessions and attend all mandatory trainingAttend required staffOther Functions:Perform all other duties as assigned.Physical

Requirements:Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to sit for long periods of time answering phone; able to use computer equipment. Must be able to speak clearly over the phone and be professional as well as in person.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:One to three years of related experience is required.Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and billing in MicroixAble to type efficiently and accurately with minimal errors, be able to maintain a filing system and have knowledge of general office operating and administrative procedures.Data Entry experiencePossess good communication and interpersonal relationship skillsOther:Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.Principle
