Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join the Workplace Investing business unit, where you will blend deep scrum expertise with a passion for coaching and mentoring. As a Scrum Master, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional squads to enhance agile performance, maintain backlog management, facilitate agile ceremonies, and coordinate release management. This role requires working closely with the squad leader to drive agile practices, remove impediments, and optimize team performance. You will also engage with product partners and leadership to embed agile principles into daily work, ensuring a high level of agile maturity within the team.
Key Responsibilities
•Guide and coach squad members on agile practices, focusing on accelerating value delivery.
•Facilitate and manage agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
•Collaborate with the squad leader to prioritize the backlog and execute work aligned with the product roadmap.
•Manage release coordination and scaling ceremonies, handling interdependencies across squads and product areas.
•Track squad performance metrics (e.g., burn-down charts) and provide feedback to the team and transparency to partners.
•Drive agile maturity by identifying improvement opportunities and providing coaching and resources.
•Support adoption and consistent use of agile tools (e.g., Jira, Mural, MS Teams).
•Organize and communicate information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Manage multiple priorities and mentor complex squads of varying sizes.
•Participate in a community of practice, sharing scrum knowledge and promoting continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
•Proven experience as a change agent, coaching agile practices to diverse teams and individuals.
•Strong facilitation skills, capable of generating solutions to overcome challenges and roadblocks.
•Enthusiastic about continuous learning and capable of mentoring teams and individuals.
•Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and presenting information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience managing multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
•Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Mural, and MS Teams.
Education:
Bachelors Degree
