Job Description
Manage day-to-day activities to meet project milestones and ultimately meet or beat project completion date.Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications.Has knowledge and experience with other trades scope of work.Maintain daily and weekly logs of construction progressMaintain job-site safety, health and cleanlinessDaily inspection of construction site to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other applicable regulations.Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to produce issues and plan coordination problems prior to beginning construction of the project.Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, subcontractors, and clientsEnsure project documentation and reports are completeAttend all necessary job-site meetings, whether on-site or off-siteManage the punch lists and close out of the projectMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent on Ground Up projectsAdvance knowledge of construction management processes, means and methodsAbility to generate and drive master scheduleCapacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of the teamsTeam Player who takes responsibility for their actions / mistakesCompetent in conflict and crisis managementKnowledge and experience with Procore or similar softwareWhat's on Offer
