Position - Production Lead - 2nd Shift
Job Location - Eau Claire, WI
Starting Date - Immediate
Employment Term - Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Employment Type - Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) - 2nd Shift (1-11:30pm with possibility of it moving to 12-10:30pm, Mon-Fri)
Starting Pay - Starting between $23-29, based on experience
Benefits - Competitive
Required Education - High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
Required Experience - At least one year in manufacturing plus 2 years in a leadership role
The Production Lead plays a key role in our production team, combining hands-on production skills with leadership and administrative responsibilities. We're looking for someone with the technical expertise to support production operations and the leadership ability to unite the team toward common goals. A proactive approach to continuous improvement and a positive, motivating attitude are essential qualities for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production, ensuring team members are equipped and supported to meet goals.
- Ensure team members are aligned with production schedules and assigned to the appropriate stations.
- Conduct quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and verify production meets required specifications.
- Complete necessary documentation and support department administration.
- Model safety, communication, and continuous improvement while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/HSED required
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Preferably two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
