Job Description:
ICF is seeking an experienced General Ledger Senior Accountant, who will report directly to the Corporate GL Manager. This individual will be responsible for assisting in several Intercompany projects and operational efforts, including balance sheet account reconciliations cleanup, as well as P&L Intercompany cleanup. This will require collaboration across multiple departments, collaborating with the Intercompany Billing Department to assist in unbilled cleanup efforts, preparing journal entries, participating in month, quarter, and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in Intercompany accounting, strong analytical experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a high paced environment. This position requires flexibility to work beyond standard business hours during peak periods and to meet critical project deadlines, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:Participate in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, performing account analysis, and preparing various balance sheet account reconciliations.Research and follow-up on reconciling items for assigned areas.Mentor Junior Staff in researching unbilled and other miscellaneous tasks.Resolve issues in assigned areas independently.Perform flux analysis on FX gain/loss on a monthly and quarterly basis.Liaise with IC Billing Department to resolve Intercompany balances.Ensure assigned tasks/processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.Ensure accounting practices and documentation procedures are performed in accordance with GAAP and ICF policies.Work with other accounting organization functions, including the Line of Business, to ensure appropriate accounting treatments are followed.Perform analysis as needed for special projects and operational work.Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related degree5+ years of experience with accounting and financial reporting5+ years in MS ExcelPreferred Skills/Experience
Experience in Intercompany and/or General LedgerExperience utilizing U.S. GAAP principlesExperience with Costpoint and CognosExperience with BlackLineHigh Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay Range
- There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:$69,862.00 - $118,765.00
