**Shift:** Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
**Experience:** Must have 1 year of experience; preferred experience in Swan Ganz, IABP, Impellas
**License:** South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association only)
**Must-Have:** CRRT, pre/post cath care experience
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 23-bed multi-specialty unit using an acuity-adaptable model.- Nurse: patient ratios range from 1:2 to 1:4 based on patient acuity.- Manage ICU level patients including care for swan Ganz catheters and intra-aortic balloon pumps.- Serve a patient population primarily involving Heart and Vascular, surgical oncology, and plastic surgery.- Functions as the step-down unit offering a higher level of care for various specialties.- Engage in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.- Floating within scope to meet facility needs.- Holiday rotation required.- Completion of 16 hours of orientation.- Emergency response duties may be required during hurricane season, from June through November.- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period.- Open to accommodating block schedules based on unit's needs, requires manager's approval.
