The OpportunityWe are seeking eager and dynamic rising Sophomores and Juniors (classes of '26/'27) for a paid Summer Rotational Analyst program which will contribute to and collaborate with many different functions of an upstart, entrepreneurial organization undergoing rapid growth. The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. This Analyst will have the opportunity to be involved in ongoing acquisitions, financial analysis, and other strategic initiatives, working closely with various senior leaders with exposure to the C-Suite. The Analyst will work across all business functions including Accounting, Mergers & Acquisitions, HR, Operations, Risk Management & Safety, and Strategy. The Analyst will have the opportunity to interact closely with all levels of the organization as well multiple outside parties, including Private Equity firms, Investment Banks, Vendors, and various other stakeholders.

This position will be based in our corporate headquarters in downtown Kansas City, MO, just blocks away from the Power & Light District. Successful Analysts may have the opportunity to join us in a full-time capacity upon graduation.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in producing financial and strategic assessments of acquisition targets; will perform valuation analysis and generate financial and valuation modelsFacilitate status update meetings and gain project management understanding and skillsWork directly with vendors in gathering information, recommending opportunities, and engaging in guided vendor negotiationsDocument processes and procedures, and then analyze for efficienciesRefine and maintain M&A opportunity database, including pertinent info on the company, including key financial metrics, operations overview, etc.Create training and integration resources for various business functions which will be used by new acquisitions and current companiesAd hoc analytics/reporting, special projects scheduling/coordinating, etc.Desired Skills & Experience

Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically: Excel, PowerPoint, and WordStrong written, oral, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex information effectivelySelf-Starter, ability to immediately handle multiple projects simultaneouslyCreative, energetic thinker, ability to work effectively absent step-by-step instructions; ability to think quickly and thoroughlyStrong attention to detail; ability to do deep analytical workNatural aptitude for accuracy, organization and an adherence to deadlinesAbility to be 'hands-on' and highly collaborative with problem solvingExcellent quantitative skills. Experience with or exposure to financial modeling, is a plusGood organization and project planning skills; juggle multiple prioritiesOther Relevant Information / Benefits:

Successful Analysts will be welcomed to continue to work during the subsequent spring/fall academic periodsThe Analyst's compensation will meet or exceed the average rates provided by the University for similar internshipsThe position offers limited unpaid vacation time and may afford some opportunities for travelPriority will be given to students who possess the ability to begin during the current Spring academic period and/or continue into the Fall period following the full-time Summer experienceAll majors will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
