In this role you'll make an impact by:Defining together, with global marketing, the go-to-market strategy for the region as well as being a key contributor for the identification and implementation of near to market initiatives in the region.Working closely with sales and technical managers to achieve our Must Win Battles (MWB).Gathering market intelligence and generating business insights -- identify market, industry, and consumer trends, as well as changes in the competitive landscape, and translate these into actionable insights, opportunities, and threats to adjust strategy and tactics as needed.Managing regional product portfolio optimization to improve our top and bottom line in close collaboration with BPUs.Driving pricing and supporting negotiations through market and competitive insights.Championing innovation and contributing to the building of near-to-market initiatives and new product launches to achieve growth targetsBeing a liaison between Global Marketing and regional commercial teams.Setting and executing the regional marketing communications plan-- annual calendar and budget, driving the messaging strategy and content plan across all platforms in line with the global strategy and Marcom lead for each product segment, including managing agencies, tradeshows, events, and physical, digital and educational marketing materials.Managing the industry marketing budget, ensuring it aligns with our strategy and generates the greatest business impact.To succeed you must hold:
B.S., with a preference for Agricultural Sciences required10+ years of relevant industry experience required7+ years of proven experience in marketing leadership requiredA passion for implementing a strategic, mid to long-term mindsetAbility to easily navigates a cross-functional networking culture and global business environment through strong leadership skills and strong business acumen.Thrive in a matrix organization with informal leadership, influencing without the use of authorityDrives customer-centricity and digital transformationDemonstrated ability to develop strategic 3-5 year plans, translate that strategy into detailed, actionable, and measurable tasks, and mobilize account teams to execute through superior communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to energize.Demonstrates ownership through proactive and analytical problem-solving skills and curiosity for exploring new challenges & opportunities in detail.An inquisitive and high-energy nature with proven critical thinking, storytelling, and key decision-maker relationship-building skillsAbility to role model Novonesis' Core Leadership commitments: Impact, Care, Explore and Ownership.Strategic marketing and communication skills, change management, strong collaboration skills, data-driven and digital savvyLocation:Franklinton - north of Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
