We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Information Systems Analyst - Level II to join our team in the National Capital Region. As an Information Systems Analyst, you will need strong technical skills, a solid background in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, and the ability to provide exceptional customer support. This role involves managing IT service requests and incidents, collaborating with other IT teams, and ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues reported by users, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to resolve problems efficiently.Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues that require cross-functional expertise.Respond to and manage IT service requests and incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution to meet customer expectations.Provide clear and concise communication to users regarding the status of their requests and any necessary actions required.Manage and track IT service requests and incidents through the Service Desk, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all activities.Utilize IT service management tools to monitor and report on service levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance overall service quality.Work closely with other IT teams, such as network, server, and application support, to resolve complex technical issues that require cross-functional expertise.Participate in incident management and problem management processes to ensure effective resolution and prevention of recurring issues.IAT II or CCNA-Security, CySA+ (CySA+ is a CompTIA certification formerly listed as CSA+), GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCPCE: Associate level (professional preferred) certificate for supported technology - Microsoft MCSA Server 2016 (or most current) or equivalent, RedHat Certified Administrator (RHCA) (or most recent) or equivalent, Microsoft MCSE - Windows Server 2016 (or most current) or Azure or equivalent, VMware Certified Professional 7 (or most recent) - Cloud Management and Automation or equivalent, Amazon Web Services (or most recent) - SysOP Administrator or equivalent, VMWare Certified Professional 6.7 (or most current) - Data Center Virtualization or higher VMware certification or equivalent, MCSA Microsoft Server 2016 (or most recent) or equivalent, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE Mobility, System Center Manager (or most recent) or equivalent, Citrix Certified Associate CCA-V, preferred Citrix Certified Professional CCP-V (or most recent) or higher Citrix certification, NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP or DECS-IE Specialist Unity (or most recent) or equivalent, Microsoft MCSA Windows 10 (or most recent) or equivalentFour (4)+ years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
