Job Summary
This role provides operational coverage to the trading, underwriting, and structuring of Fixed Income securities, focusing on the trade capture, reconciliation, documentation, and settlement of proprietary and liquidity transactions.
The Business Analyst II will work closely with various trading desks, sales teams, and other operations groups to ensure the effective processing of trades while identifying and managing operational risks.
This position is temporary/contingent, supporting Fixed Income Operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and manage risk implications of the fixed income operations role.Ensure the timely and accurate execution of functions such as trade checkout, position reconciliation, and wash account reconciliation.Collaborate with trading desks, sales teams, and operations groups to ensure seamless trade processing.Provide support in resolving issues and escalate critical concerns to desk and operations management as needed.Cross-train with other team members to ensure coverage across multiple areas.Maintain high levels of accuracy and timeliness in performing operational tasks.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.Strong communication skills, with a willingness to share knowledge.Team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple operational areas.Excellent multitasking and time management skills.Ability to identify and escalate issues to senior management and trading desks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment.Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.Preferred Qualifications
Education or experience in accounting or reconciliation.Corporate experience in financial services.Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.Finance knowledge or experience, particularly in Fixed Income operations.
