SUMMARY: The Alside Senior Business Analyst is responsible for responsible for executing commercial sales compensation and transformation analytics initiatives, which support critical business operations between corporate and local markets. This role will play a pivotal role in elevating our analytics and insights agenda to accelerate growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness initiatives. This role reports to the VP, Alside Commercial Enablement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Sales Incentive Program * Analyze and administer Alside short-term incentive programs including sales compensation programs and annual bonus programs * Lead execution of sales rep compensation issue resolution processes * Lead sales compensation analytics automation and optimization priority implementation including process rigor and elevated capabilities/tools * Recommend and implement changes to current programs
Execute commercial sales analytics priorities to deliver elevated growth and productivity insights for action, including but not limited to:
* Suite of dashboards, reporting and tools to drive sales activity, giving leaders the ability to focus on the right opportunities or issues * Integrate the sales pipeline to produce revenue forecasts * Use statistical methods, modeling and data analysis to inform and support decision-making * Generate targeted insights to identify key growth, profitability, and productivity opportunities * Provide analysis and modeling to generate recommendations to sales, gross profit, gross margin, and ROI targets are achieved * Leverage key internal and external data sources including but not limited to historical shipment, depletions, category, supplier, customer, consumer data, coupled with forward looking industry, marketplace, and consumer insights. * Collaborate with Leadership and key stakeholders to develop reporting and analytics solutions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree, MBA is a plus * 6+ years business experience in finance and/or sales analytics functions
KEY COMPENTENCIES: * Strong business acumen, with understanding of how decisions affect volume, growth, and profitability * Strong analytical and modeling skills * Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company * Balance competing priorities without losing momentum behind execution * Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize and coordinate across multiple teams * Drive and embrace change * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Skilled using PowerBI * MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) * Preferred: Foundry data platform analytics and salesforce.com reporting experience
