Our client a manufacturing company in Camarillo is seeking a few Assemblers to join their team.
Job Title: Assembler II
Location: Camarillo, CA
Pay Range: $18.50hr
What’s the Job?
Sets up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions
Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding.
Weigh, mix and identify items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds and potting materials.
Follow intermediate drawings and procedures. Perform connector assemblies.
Manually load and/or machine load retainers into molded plastic inserts per work order instructions. Bond loaded front inserts to molded plastic rear inserts per work order instructions. Assemble and bond EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions.
What’s Needed?
High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
1-2 years’ experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process specifications, drawings, and work orders in English
Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools
Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown
Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts.
