Amentum is seeking an Acquistion Analyst to join the team.

Acquisition Analyst Responsibilities Include:

Providing support to the Submarine Acoustic Systems Program Office (PMS 401) acquisition team, tailoring strategies to deliver best solutions in accordance with DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and policies.

Drafting as well as providing advice and recommendations in support of all acquisition planning elements, including acquisition plans, contracting strategies, milestone schedules, solicitations and attachments (ie Statements of Work, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), DD254s, Government Furnished Equipment, and Government Furnished Information), proposal analysis, and purchase requests.

Supporting all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) cycle including the identification and prioritization of funding sources, strategies and requests for program products and services, and funds planning and execution management.

Reviewing, tracking and managing contract deliverables, ensuring that deliverables are received, and that deliverable technical review and feedback is provided to the contractor in alignment with contract requirements.

Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 3 years of DoD acquisition contract program experience

Strong technical writing skills (5-7 years’ experience)

Experience with DoD acquisition submarine, shipbuilding and/or related system(s) program(s)

Knowledge in DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and policies

Ability to evaluate all official contract file documentation to determine the incorporation of meeting the FAR standards.

Strong level expertise/experience with MS Office particularly Power Point, Word and Excel

Understanding and hands-on experience in the development of purchase requests for different contract types and various program funding appropriations.

Understanding of the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents and processes and authoring, editing, and issuing Purchase Requests (PR)

Possess a high level of attention to detail and electronic files/documents organization

Preferred Qualifications:

7+ years of DoD acquisition contract program experience

Understanding of the Submarine Acoustic Systems lifecycle and terminology/acronyms

Experience with Navy/NAVSEA programs and combat systems, including development and fielding

Experience with SPS

Experience with Navy ERP

Skilled in communicating findings and program recommendations, verbally and written.

Certified acquisitions specialists ie. Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer’s Representative (FAC-COR), Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting (FAC-C), or Federal Acquisition Certification for Project Managers (FAC-PM)

Compensation & Benefits :

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $135,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
