responsibilities:
Financial Oversight & Analysis:
Conduct thorough reviews and audits of financial records, including year-over-year forecasting and reporting on revenues and expenses.
Prepare, analyze, and manage departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic financial objectives and property standards.
Establish and enforce financial controls, including policies and procedures to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Strategic Planning & Departmental Management:
Develop and implement both short- and long-term departmental goals, policies, and procedures to optimize operational performance and effectiveness.
Continuously evaluate key performance indicators and departmental goals to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and labor management for assigned areas.
Leadership & Team Development:
Oversee all aspects of hiring, performance management, and employee engagement, fostering a motivating and inclusive environment.
Provide training, constructive feedback, and development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and performance.
Implement employee engagement and communication strategies to promote a positive and service-oriented culture.
Decision Making & Strategic Vision:
Display sound judgment under pressure and uphold high ethical standards in all aspects of departmental and financial management.
Set clear, long-term goals and demonstrate resilience in adapting to changing circumstances.
Maintain a polished, professional demeanor to set a positive example for the team, creating a consistent, professional workplace culture.
qualifications:
Extensive knowledge in construction finance with strong financial statement and budgeting skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and present complex financial information clearly across various communication platforms.
Superior strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience in setting and achieving long-term goals.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with an ability to build positive, fair, and ethical relationships.
Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in driving department initiatives from concept through to execution.
