Position Overview: We are hiring a Field Account Manager to promote and sell our Vulcan intra-row weeding solutions to growers. This is a quota carrying role with excellent earnings potential from salary, commissions and stock options. Our Field Account Managers are responsible for all aspects of the sale of FarmWise products and services to growers in their assigned territories.Qualifications and Experience:5+ years of successful sales experience in agriculture with a proven track record of exceeding assigned sales targets. Proven strong background of direct selling to customers and managing dealer and or distributor relationships.Strong understanding of their local territories with an excellent network of contacts in the grower and dealer communityFamiliar with current grower methods particularly weed control for vegetablesFinancial acumen necessary to develop convincing ROI and TCO based proposals to support a successful sales campaignSelf-motivated, team spirited, results oriented with a strategic thinking mindset.Must have strong communication skills-written and verbal to project a professional image of FarmWise and our products to the marketStrong sales discipline and negotiation capabilities, strong interpersonal relationship building skills.Key industry contacts and or relationships within assigned region and industry markets.Capable of managing a large territory and is knowledgeable of the assigned region.What you will do:You will have the opportunity to develop new business, manage top tier accounts and create revenue for a leading Ag Tech company. Open new territories as Farmwise expands into new geographies.Call on existing or prospective customers with focus on specific product growth.Embed yourself in dealer relationships and sales processes.Create a sales plan with focus on specific targets at the customer level and tactical activities to drive results.Actively manage/update the sales pipeline of both dealer and direct sales opportunities.Report on regional sales results and against established metrics.Provide market analysis and recommendations.Develop localized sales tools and marketing programs.Promote products at trade shows and conferences.Compile customer profile documentation for each targeted end user.Build relationships with key end users at multiple levels within their organizations, with focus on decision makers that impact Farmwise's results.Educate key end users on product capabilities.Identify growth opportunities with target end users and create/implement plan.Participate in market/crop development efforts.Give strong commitment to annual personal development.>What we Offer:Competitive SalaryPre-IPO Stock OptionsFlexible PTO & 9 company-wide holidaysGenerous Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), including FSA and HSA optionsLife Insurance401(k) with Company MatchFree catered lunch and plenty of snacks>$84,000 - $126,000 a yearFarmWise follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted. The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. FarmWise offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year.
