The
Air Dominance Engineering Directorate
has an opening for a full-time
Principal or Senior Principal Project Manager - Technical Operations (Tech Ops).
This position is located in
Clearfield, Utah
and will report to
Director of Engineering
. This role works closely with the Engineering Director to meet all current and projected technical operations and project management needs and challenges, and function as focal point and driver for business metrics, data calls, project & team collaboration and financial execution.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Represent the directorate as they coordinate with the Director, Department Managers, and Section Managers to analyze and identify department trends, needs, and potential trends in training, funding, and other department metrics (to include staffing)
Track and facilitate delivery of Directorate actions, audit and correct employee records, and manage delivery of items to schedule
Establish and manage common approaches, templates, and tools for delivering data from the Directorate to requesting organizations and Leadership
Represents the directorate through logistics and planning to ensure personnel are provided necessary trainings within budget and on schedule. Develops & statuses the metrics necessary for reporting.
Assists with all aspects of staffing to include Onboarding, Clearance tracking, UR&R status, and Hiring Events
This role can be filled at the Principal (level 3) or Senior Principal (level 4) level depending on the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Sr Principal:
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices
Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with and present to all levels of employees and leadership
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance prior to the commencement of employment
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Current active, in-scope DoD Secret clearance or higher
Bachelor’s degree or higher in related STEM or business discipline
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience developing and executing executive-level presentations and briefings
Salary Range:
$76,600 - $115,000
Salary Range 2:
$95,000 - $142,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
