Our Bioreactor, Equipment and Automation Business Unit is in our Single-Use Division. Our innovative single-use technologies enable customers to accelerate their biological manufacturing processes to build flexibility and operate more dynamically within their upstream and downstream workflows.
The Senior Product Manager develops and implements global product strategies to accelerate the growth of our single use bioreactor product lines. This role runs the product portfolio's day-to-day, supporting market analysis, planning, and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Full business ownership / accountability for delivering financial results for the product line.
Own the product life cycle for the existing portfolio and product roadmap.
Identify and drive product development, lead the New Product Introduction teams, conducting voice of customer research, defining critical customer and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding business and financial justification.
Analyze, interpret, and report regularly to management regarding sales forecasts, product supply, and market dynamics.
Serve as product champion with internal teams, and directly with key accounts. An effective performer will maintain close interaction with field organization (e.g., sales) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, product value proposition, pricing tactics, and customer support.
Act as the customer advocate interacting with functional partners including R&D, Program Management, Manufacturing, Finance, Service, Quality and Regulatory
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or Scientific field.
MBA strongly preferred.
Experience:
6+ years in product management, or marketing leadership experience required, including experience leading direct and/or cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with bioprocessing or life sciences preferred.
Experience developing & launching new products in global businesses.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and drive initiatives in a matrix environment.
Skills & Abilities:
Adept at influencing, driving accountability to timelines and commitments from individuals junior and senior in the organization
Strong attention to detail and project management skills to lead timely results across multiple projects simultaneously.
