How you will make an impact:
CMD is a $3bn business within the Analytical Instruments Group, which offers chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments serving the academic & government, food & beverage, environmental, pharma / biotech, and clinical markets.
Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A, the successful candidate will be an integral member of our CMD FP&A team and will work closely with Divisional and Finance leadership.
What you will do:Lead financial aspects of portfolio analytics, work with strategy team to shift the focus from reporting to analyzing trends to enable growth and recommend capital allocation that enables growth ambitionPartner with Marketing and Finance teams to develop digital reporting for vertical marketing structure including EBITA reporting. Owning implementation and adoption of Vertical marketing P&L.Own month and quarter-end executive reporting process on Marketing function.Lead aspects of Divisional functional Marketing operating budgets, ensuring funds are efficiently deployed against prioritized programsAssist with annual planning cycle by facilitating global STRAP/AOP process with the Division and BU FP&A and Marketing teams.Participate in PPI process, driving continuous improvement and digitalization for Finance functionHow you will get here:
Education
An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is requiredExperience
Minimum of 5-7+ years of business and Finance experiencePrior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organizationSkilled in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and MS office including Power BIDetail-oriented with ability to maintain accuracy of information and meet timeline with little supervision.
