Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Temporary Controller to manage our financial operations during a maternity leave period. The ideal candidate will ensure the continuity of financial processes and provide strong leadership to our accounting team. This position requires an individual who can seamlessly step in and maintain our financial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic financial analysis.
- Maintain and monitor internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and drive cost-effective initiatives.
- Assist with tax planning and coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits.
- Provide cash flow management and financial planning support to the executive team.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of [number] years of progressive experience in accounting and finance management.
