Our client is adding an Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager to their team.This is a HYBRID in the office and remote opportunity in the Princeton NJ area.Will hire someone on a contract-to-hire basis.Responsibilities include:Accounts Payable and Vendor Management, Financial Close (Month and Year End), Financial Analysis, Budgeting - preparation and variance analysis, Banking and Cash Management, Assisting with Technology upgrades and implementations, Credit Management, Tax Filing for state sales & use, Internal Controls compliance, Backup to Payroll/Payroll Tax and HR support.
Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years experience in the above duties - preferably within manufacturing, distribution, and/or retail/wholesale industryStrong systems such as Excel Modeling and Data Analysis and General Ledger systems ERP / NetSuiteProblem Solving skillsExceptional communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
