With our rapid growth, you will have ongoing opportunities to explore new paths, develop your skills and achieve your potential.Job Summary: As a Production Painter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces within healthcare facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, visually appealing, and meet industry standards. Your attention to detail, knowledge of painting techniques, and adherence to safety protocols will contribute to creating a positive healing environment. Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for following proper repair procedures and performs all refinish procedures according to factory specifications and NAI policy to restore to their original appearance.Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. in order to complete quality work.Manage & control materials cost maximizing usage and inventory.Prepare Mix paint colors, and ensure all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet NAI recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage.Follow all paint manufacturing guidelines.Spray test panels to ensure texture match.Assist in prep work when necessary.Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the units to quality Control.Complete QC sheet for every vehicle as applicable.Adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal.Maintain clean, orderly and organized work area.Comply with NAI safety rules, guidelines and standards.Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business.Required Skills/Abilities: Effectively manage workload in consideration of time demands.Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.Committed to quality work with attention to detail.Willing to perform challenging as well as not-so challenging tasks. High integrity, adaptable.Efficient, accurate, willingness to learn.Ability to read a tape measure.Ability to use common hand tools.Mechanical aptitude.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification in painting is a plus. 3-5 years experience as a painter, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting required.
