Job Description

Under the leadership of the Director of Enterprise Information, this position assists the Enterprise Information Team by providing integration, reporting, programming, analytical support services, and administrative support of all enterprise systems associated with the campus ERP system and associated technologies, other third-party applications, and internal programming. The role also entails managing tickets and projects, collaborating on development practices, training users, troubleshooting system issues, and contributing insights to improve institutional practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the configuration, availability, and upkeep of all Enterprise systems connected to and including the campus ERP system by providing technical assistance to solve problems associated with the application programs.Provide customizations to integrate, enhance, and maintain vendor software and enterprise systems based on end-user needs.Designs, develops, writes, tests, documents, implements, and maintains custom application programs when deemed necessary.Develop/modify new systems components as required to accommodate current business processes.Develop reports utilizing university reporting solutions used within the team, other campus stakeholders, and third-party systems.Properly documents programs, file layouts, subroutines, computed columns, and other software components.Works on assigned tickets and issues in our ticketing system and project management solution as well as management of projects when assigned.Collaborate with other team members to develop common systems development practices.Assists and trains users in regard to the campus enterprise systems.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with four to five years of experience programming preferred.Working knowledge of Web APIs and scripting languages.General knowledge and understanding of the Information Technology industry.Ability to quickly adapt to new programming languages as needed and support department directions by adhering to established standards.Ability to make critical decisions, have good interpersonal skills, sound judgment, ability to learn quickly, ability to plan and schedule work, ability to quickly learn and apply new technology.Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.Ability to work at times with minimal supervision.Must be able to handle and work with interruptions during normal office hours.High degree of creativity with a "can-do" attitude; display high degree of professionalism.
