The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in trust and probate litigation, demonstrate strong analytical and advocacy skills, and manage complex cases with professionalism and a client-focused approach.Key Responsibilities:

Case Management:

Handle a diverse caseload related to trust and probate litigation, including disputes over trust validity, fiduciary breaches, and will contests.Legal Research:

Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents to support case strategies and ensure compliance with legal standards.Client Interaction:

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives, provide legal advice, and keep them informed about case developments.Drafting Documents:

Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.Court Appearances:

Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials, presenting compelling arguments and evidence.Negotiation:

Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.Strategy Development:

Develop and implement legal strategies that align with clients' goals and maximize the likelihood of favorable outcomes.Collaboration:

Work alongside other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management and effective legal representation.Professional Development:

Stay current with developments in trust and probate law and participate in relevant continuing legal education opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Bar Admission:

Active membership in the California Bar Association or eligibility for admission.Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trust and probate litigation or a related field.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases independently.Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
