QUALIFICATIONS:A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the healthcare industry, including successful completion of projects in the healthcare information technology environmentAbility to develop and maintain effective relationships with management, vendors, and business and technical project team membersAbility to interact effectively with technical personnel and ability to translate and communicate technical concepts and information to business staffAbility to document and convey complex concepts in a simple easy to understand manner and formatExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.Ability to assess priorities and flexibly meet the dynamic needs of the teamAbility to work independently and process quickly, independently, prioritizing work activitiesKnowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree or equivalentMinimum (3) three years of Information Technology related project management experienceExperience with and preparing project documentationProficiency with MS ProjectProficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint.Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry best practices.
