About Riverside:Riverside, part of UnityPoint Health - Robert Young Center, offers inpatient and outpatient services, including 24-hour emergency treatment, medical detoxification, diagnostic evaluation, and aftercare programs. Patients receive individual and group counseling to focus on how certain factors, such as the judicial system, family need, or careers, may affect stubstance use treatment. Recovery from addiction starts with abstinence but also invlolves learning new life skills and emotional coping strategies. Riverside's programs, based on trauma-informed care and the 12-step program, support individuals and families thorughout the recovery process. Since 1972, Riverside has helped thousands lead substance-free lives.Services provided include: Support groups dedicatied to different needs, including teens and parents of teens affected by suicide loss and mental illness. As well as detoxification services help a person become alcohol or drug-gree and is the process by which individuals are medically monitored for withdrawal and other complications which may occur following cessation of prolonged use of alcohol or drugs. Staff continually evaulate ond observe all detox patients to ensure that they are not representing as harful to themselves or others. Comprehensive detoxification serviecs include medical and nutrition evaluations. Once an individaul is medically stable, the detoxicication process focus on further evaluation of the individal's substance abuse use. Treatment planning is completed prior to discharge so a continuum of care is etablished.

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of accredited nursing program.License(s)/Certification(s):Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Must possess and maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training or obtain within 6 months from date of hire.#RNpositionsQC#QC123Area of Interest:
