Purchasing Manager - Local Manufacturer
Seeking a Purchasing Manager responsible for sourcing inventory, supplies, and capital goods. The role includes price negotiation, vendor evaluation, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently purchase inventory, supplies, and capital equipment.Review and verify purchase requisitions; issue and manage purchase orders.Negotiate pricing, delivery, and credit terms.Evaluate vendors for cost-effectiveness, performance, and quality.Maintain positive vendor relationships and accurate records.Analyze reorder levels for cost-effective purchasing.Work with Production Scheduler to support manufacturing flow.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.5+ years of purchasing experience.Proficient in Excel and MRP software.Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday (No weekends)
