Administrative Assistant - $13.00 - $15.00/HR DOE
A Wichita Falls ministry is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a hands-on position that best suit a self-starter. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and have specific skill in developing and maintaining databases, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, and performing mail merges. Great communication skills, multi-tasking, and the ability to lift 30 lbs. is required. This individual will maintain strict confidentiality and professional/ethical standards. A clean background and ability to pass a drug test is required for this position. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Job Duties: Fast-paced work environment with a variety of tasks Answering multi-line telephone calls Preparing email and mail correspondence Provide support for meetings and events Update and manage program paperwork and databases Assist in coordinating promotional and fund-raising events Assistance with marketing activities Maintain inventories Updating calendar and social media sites Performs general administrative and other tasks as requested
What we look for: Must have HS diploma or GED 2+ years of administrative/office experience preferred Customer service experience required Capability of working in fast-paced, team-oriented office Excellent communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel Willingness to learn new software Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects Educational background in office administration, business, marketing, communications, public relations, or other related fields is a plus.
