About the Role:

The Vice President of Supply Chain is a senior leader responsible for optimizing and leading the omni-channel supply chain operations across Oxford. This key leader is responsible for the Oxford supply chain from the point that our products leave the supplier’s facility until they arrive at the customer’s door – overseeing international and domestic logistics, distribution strategy and execution, and related shared services. This role works with leaders at all levels of the organization and manages a team of professionals who are accountable for operations and related needs for specific areas of the supply chain, ensuring alignment with company objectives and efficient service delivery to internal and external customers while meeting Oxford’s operational and financial goals.

As part of the Oxford leadership team, this position is located in Atlanta, GA.

Enterprise Distribution Strategy and Domestic Logistics/Distribution:

  1. Develop and lead distribution strategies, planning, and processes that support the unique goals and requirements of each business unit as well as the overall vision and financial goals of Oxford.
  2. Partner with business leaders to identify and lead strategic opportunities that improve distribution’s operational metrics and goals.
  3. Develop appropriate operational reporting; utilize comparative KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Maximize the capability of each distribution center through process improvements and technology enhancements.
  5. Provide strategic leadership for the distribution shared services facility (Oxford of Lyons), ensuring long-term alignment with business unit goals and capacity planning. Indirectly manage and provide strategic guidance to the other business-unit-specific distribution centers.
  6. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure warehousing and fulfillment services meet both current and future service level requirements.
  7. Oversee budget management and operational efficiencies to optimize DC performance, driving growth and scalability in support of the company’s long-term vision and planning.
  8. Oversee the strategy for parcel and domestic trucking operations, collaborating with key business unit contacts to manage provider selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
  9. Build and lead a high-performance team, providing coaching and development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes excellence.

International Logistics and Import Management:

  1. Lead the enterprise-level planning and management of global logistics, including freight forwarder selection, rate negotiations, shipment tracking, and issue resolution, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery to the distribution centers.
  2. Provide leadership for internal US Customs brokerage operations and compliance governance for Oxford, working in collaboration with the import teams of the business units.
  3. Manage supply chain security and risk mitigation strategies through supplier assessments and compliance with US CTPAT regulations.
  4. Oversee HK-based trade finance operations team, including international supplier payments and related accounting, ensuring adherence to regulations.

Lead, manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals

Serve as a member of Oxford Corporate executive team. Provide strategic insights, leadership and partnership to peer executives and their teams.

Experience and Skills required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. 15+ years of experience in international and domestic supply chains, including distribution management, ideally with some operational experience in a multi-channel, multi-customer distribution center.
  3. Direct experience with facilities using ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), robotics, and related automation.
  4. Direct experience with leading change management and related training programs in the context of facility expansions, relocations, and/or major process upgrades.
  5. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a multi-brand, multi-unit retail environment.
  6. Strong understanding of trade finance, import management, and customs compliance.
  7. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with multiple business units.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  10. Strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
