POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, the Supply Chain Director is responsible for the leadership to provide effective and efficient supply chain processes. Responsibilities include S&OP leadership, long-term capacity planning and modeling, network optimization to maximize service levels and deliver Productivity/Reliability, end-to-end supply chain data analysis and reporting, and new product commercialization. The role works closely with Operations, Product Development, and Finance to develop capacity solutions for the network. The role requires a high proficiency in leadership and interpersonal skills, business processes and systems, data analysis, communication, and presentation skills, as well as an understanding of advanced supply chain methodologies.RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:Represent Novipax values and deliver excellent service through each interaction.Oversees the revision, creation, and installation of strategic and tactical plans that provide the direction and focus needed to successfully achieve our Customer Value Proposition through effective Supply Chain solutions.Lead and be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain function, including planning, purchasing, logistics, and distribution supporting manufacturing and development operations.Develop and lead a standard Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning process and a demand and supply planning approach.Works closely with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure seamless long-term capacity planning with short-term planning solutions to meet demandIdentify and utilize advanced modeling techniques to simulate different scenarios and optimize long-term capacity planning.Establishes key routines and connection points to ensure connectivity with Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial departments.Improve efficiency and streamline supply chain operations through continuous improvement initiatives; Develop and implement standardized processes and practices for network design, management, and supply chain function executionDevelop KPI dashboard to manage Supply Chain function performance through continuous improvement efforts.Lead demand planning execution and supply planning, including managing the annual budget process.Improve the Novipax manufacturing network to optimize the end-to-end product supply through total delivered cost efficiencies and maximizing Service levelsOptimize inventory management processes to minimize costs while maintaining high service levels.Ensure team conducts detailed analysis of data to forecast future capacity needs while taking into consideration raw material procurement strategies, seasonal variations, and market trends.Develop a material flow and availability strategy and measure and improve material availability.Develop a standard inventory planning approach and achieve inventory targets, which includes make-to-stock and make-to-order strategies.Lead strategic sourcing activities for procurement of direct and indirect materials and finished goods at favorable total costs, while balancing quality, inventory and customer service requirementsWork closely with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Finance teams to successfully support execution of the stage-gate process for new product development and commercialization.Owns the RFP and negotiation process for all business needs; identifying key suppliers to support the breadth of product offerings and supporting the business relationship to optimize the total cost.Preferred Experience and Competencies:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in supply chain management, with significant leadership experience.At least 7 years of experience successfully leading in a Supply Chain/Business Development role and/or exposure to BD activities in a business model that emphasizes growth.Strong financial (P&L) and analytical skills; proven record of making well-informed decisions.Strong influencing, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and encourage a diverse team.Proficient in using supply chain management software and ERP systemsProven track record to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.Certifications such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green / Black Belt, and APICS are preferred.Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
