We are hiring a Product Manager to define and build a revamped customer education strategy, including building new, high-impact features and driving product marketing to inform customers about relevant features and apps.
Key job responsibilities• Think big and innovate to improve the customer education experience on Fire Tablets.• Deliver working backward documents to define the relevant feature sets, establish the business case, and align with stakeholders.• Deliver business requirements to inform design and engineering to ship software products that address customers' needs.• Own team level and influence organization level prioritization and trade-offs.
A day in the lifeYou will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, designers, marketers and executives to deliver new experiences for customers. You will define measurement metrics and drive process improvements to bring features to life. A successful candidate will be analytical, empathetic, and adept at defining simple, delightful solutions for customers.
About the teamThe Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle, Fire tablet, Fire TV, and Echo. Fire tablets are among the most popular consumer electronics devices on the market, with easy access to millions of apps, games, movies, books, and more. It is just Day 1 for Amazon devices and we are looking for proven, customer-centric product leaders to help continue to innovate and grow our device business.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience as a product manager or owner- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technologyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
