Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Washington, D.C. office for a federal government contracts litigation associate with 4-6 years of experience. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and either Virginia or Maryland.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment required.Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and other agency supplements is required.Experience with the Armed Services and Civilian Boards of Contract Appeals, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, is preferred.Experience with federal ethics and compliance issues and investigations is preferred.Work Environment & Physical Demands:This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.Physical Requirements:Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.Visual Acuity:Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.Compensation & Benefits:The salary range for this position applies to Washington, DC. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position.
