Job Title: SOJ35 – Crisis Response Campaign Planner, SOCPAC CSPLocation: Camp Smith, HI - Camp Smith, HI 96861 US (Primary)Category: ContractorsSummary:The Unconventional (TU) is seeking a qualified SOJ35 – Crisis Response Campaign Planner to support the United States Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) with intelligence analysis of unclassified and classified information on enemy and partner forces to support planning and operational intelligence requirements to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), Counterterrorism, Counter-Proliferation, Global Near-Peer actors, and SOCPAC Command priorities. Support will be provided to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Intelligence Planning/Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE)/Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific alongside a constellation of like-minded allies and partners, united by mutual security, interests, and values to deter adversary aggression and protect the homeland.Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:The Crisis Response (CR) Campaign Planner assists the SOCPAC Operations Division with the management of the Crisis Response portfolio and assists with the management of all administrative SOCPAC-sponsored Title 10 requirements for CT and other regional USSOF cooperation engagements.Daily CR duties include updating and maintaining the CR SOP, coordination with both USSOCOM and USINDOPACIFIC CR staff, assists with expeditionary C2 unit rehearsals across the SOCPAC staff and relevant exercise support.The CR Planner develops and supports scheduled Joint Planning Group (JPG) iterations tied to specific bi-annual INDOPACOM and SOCOM crisis response exercises.Additionally, the CR planner attends all (short notice) USINDOPACOM Crisis Operational Planning Groups (OPGs) to ensure SOCPAC meets INDOPACOM crisis planning requirements.Additional specific duties include:Resident SMEE for crisis action planning for the staff. Assist with identifying assets and prompt solutions for the Commander.Assists in developing, implementing and management of the daily crisis battle rhythms, such as required Joint Planning Group (JPG) production, briefings, and After-Action Reviews (AARs).Ensures timely coordination and development of administrative staffing actions that support Title 10 programs, including development of programs, establishing orders, bi-annual assessments, and mandatory fiscal reporting requirements.Fulfill and support general tasks and role of an experienced senior Joint qualified, branch immaterial, staff officer for the team.Lead or present formal and informal meetings related to portfolio OAIs to a variety of audiences.Required Qualifications:Demonstrated experience with the management of Crisis Response portfolios.Must possess excellent oral, writing and coordination skills to communicate information clearly and concisely.Knowledge and experience of US Special Operations Forces and capabilities required for Crisis Response options.Desired Qualifications:Previous experience in USSOCOM, SOCPAC, or USINDOPACOM.Clearance:
Must possess a TS security clearance and eligible for SCI and required SAP / STO.Travel:
CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
