Crisis Response Campaign Planner
to support Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) with managing the Crisis Response (CR) portfolio. This position is charged with administration of SOCPAC-sponsored Title 10 requirements for counterterrorism (CT) and regional USSOF cooperation engagements. Individual will play a key role in updating and maintaining the CR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), coordinating with USSOCOM and USINDOPACOM CR staff, and supporting expeditionary command and control unit rehearsals.Duties and Responsibilities:Update and maintain the Crisis Response Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Coordinate daily with USSOCOM and USINDOPACIFIC crisis response staff.Assist in rehearsals and support for expeditionary Command and Control (C2) units across SOCPAC staff and exercises.Develop and support scheduled Joint Planning Group (JPG) iterations, ensuring alignment with bi-annual INDOPACOM and SOCOM exercises.Attend USINDOPACOM Crisis Operational Planning Groups (OPGs) to ensure SOCPAC meets INDOPACOM's crisis planning requirements.Serve as the resident Subject Matter Expert (SMEE) in crisis action planning, advising the staff on asset identification and strategic solutions for the Commander.Develop, implement, and manage daily crisis battle rhythms, including Joint Planning Group production, briefings, and After-Action Reviews (AARs).Coordinate administrative staffing actions supporting Title 10 programs, including program development, order establishment, bi-annual assessments, and fiscal reporting.Provide support in the role of a senior Joint qualified, branch-immaterial staff officer.Lead or present formal and informal meetings related to Crisis Response portfolio activities to diverse audiences.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field and 5+ years’ experience in crisis response and campaign planning.In-depth knowledge and experience with US Special Operations Forces (SOF) and their capabilities for crisis response.Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI, SAP/STO eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree in related field and 10+ years’ experience in crisis response and campaign planning.Ability to manage, track, and implement complex programs, including compliance with fiscal and reporting mandates.Experience facilitating joint planning processes and supporting high-level operational engagements.
