The successful candidate will represent employers in various forums, provide legal counsel on employment laws and regulations, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in matters such as class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.Provide advice and counsel to employers on compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations.Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and litigation.Manage case files and maintain effective communication with clients.Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials.Collaborate with team members to develop legal strategies and case plans.Stay updated on current court and employment-related agency procedures and legal developments.Requirements:4+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment law background.JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.Active Bar admission in Ohio (required) and Kentucky (preferred).Understanding of current court and employment-related agency procedures at both state and federal levels.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced workload effectively.Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently on various projects.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar admission in Kentucky (preferred).Skills:Expertise in employment litigation and employment law.Proficiency in defending and managing employment-related claims.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Effective case management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.
