Our client is a large-scale construction firm looking to expand into the Design Build business and is in need of a qualified Design Director. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Pre-construction management team, oversee the design phase of each project, and make critical decisions based on personnel and risk assessment.Responsibilities
Manage in-house design personnel and third-party design firms from an architectural standpoint.Identify potential clients and acquire third-party resources to assist with pre-construction and design.Oversee projects from initial contact to contract execution.Plan and conceptualize designs for bidding purposes.Minimum Requirements
Registered Architect or Architect with Project Management or Client Management experience.5+ years of experience in Design Management.Experience in Design Build.Background in Construction.AIA Registration.
